Week 1- Summer School

Morning and Afternoon Meetings

Our Morning and Afternoon Meetings were a huge success! They were fantastic for helping everyone get to know each other and feel comfortable with new teachers and friends. It was also a great way to learn our class routine and rules.

These meetings were always full of laughter, enthusiastic "GOOD MORNING!" and "GOODBYE!" shouts, and of course, lots of singing and dancing! They were the perfect way to build our community.

Topic Exploration

This week's theme, "Adventures Under the Sun," was packed with fun! On Tuesday, we got creative making picnic baskets. Wednesday took us to the beach where we made footprints in the sand art. We had an energetic Thursday celebrating Olympics Day and talking all about sports. Finally, on Friday, we wrapped up our sunny adventures by camping out and making delicious s'mores! What a week of creativity, movement, and tasty treats! Yum yum yum!

Language Exploration

We had a fantastic time exploring language this week! We read so many books, chanted lots of short rhymes, and explored different language cards from school to seasons. It was a week packed with language-rich fun!

Free Play

We had such a wonderful time playing with all our friends, both new and old! It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves while remembering our important play rules: playing nicely, taking turns, and sharing. It makes playtime fun for everyone!
